Ring Rescue Featured In JEMS Case Report

Ring Rescue device featured in top U.S. medical publication 

Dartmouth, NS., June 16, 2020: Ring Rescue Inc., a Class 1 medical device company is featured on the front page of the Journal of Emergency Medical Services with a case study involving their device. The study, A Novel Approach to Ring Removal: Compression Device, highlights six individuals having their stuck ring removed non-destructively with the help of the Ring Rescue device. This feature in a renowned publication is a major move for the company on its mission to becoming the improved standard of care for stuck ring removal.

Ring Rescue developed a Compression Device that reduces the size of a swollen finger to aid in the removal of a stuck ring. The device is applied to the swollen finger and uniform pressure is applied for five minutes. The device is then removed and our unique lubricant is applied before attempting to remove the ring.
