Local medical device manufacturer Ring Rescue Inc. is excited to announce that two of their Co-founders, Dr. Kevin Spencer and Patrick Hennessey, will be featured on CBC’s Dragons Den on Thursday October 20th at 8pm AST. Earlier this year, the Founders traveled to Toronto to pitch in the CBC studio. Next week the whole country gets to watch and find out if they made a deal in the Den.

Ring Rescue, based out of Dartmouth, NS, has built the only complete solution for stuck ring removal, changing the standard of care. Their first product, the Compression Device, offers a non-destructive option for ring removal by temporarily shrinking finger size, helping professionals remove rings intact. Some stuck rings must be cut, and the new Dolphin™ Ring Cutter cuts faster, safer and can cut through even the most difficult ring metals, far outperforming what is currently available.

Stuck rings are a common worldwide problem, and together in one durable kit, these patented and FDA registered solutions give professionals the best tools for safe and effective stuck ring removal.

Over the past 5 years, the Ring Rescue team has worked tirelessly to build the best products. These products provide professionals in Healthcare, Fire/Rescue, EMS, Corrections, Jewellery and Funeral Services with effective solutions for a common problem that is seen by professionals over 100,000 times a month in North America.

In reflection of the experience, Kevin Spencer, Co-founder and CEO of Ring Rescue says;

“With the recent launch of the Ring Rescue Kit, it is perfect timing for the Dragons Den spotlight to highlight the new standard of care that is now available to professionals across North America. As an ER Doctor I know that stuck rings can become a medical emergency when finger strangulation becomes a possibility Prior to the Ring Rescue Kit, safe, effective medical grade tools were not available. We were honoured to pitch to the Dragons and look forward to sharing our experience in the Den with viewers at home!

Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Patrick Hennessey also shared his thoughts;

“The timing of our Dragon’s Den episode comes at an exciting time as we are shipping our first production units of the Dolphin™ Ring Cutter. This device has been in development for two and a half years, and with our Compression Device, gives our users the best tools in the world to treat stuck rings. We’re excited for you to find out if the Dragon’s agree!”

Ring Rescue Inc. continues to evolve and adapt by providing innovative solutions for the common stuck ring problem by building safe and effective solutions to elevate the standard of care, deepening their position as the authority in stuck ring removal.
